After graduation from Auburn University with a degree in Finance, John began working at Auburn as a business administrator.  This led to a position managing budgets for research contracts and grants for faculty in the College of Education.

In 2015 John combined the skills he learned from a life of working in various industries and applied that with an entrepreneurial spirit and signed an area agreement to develop Chicken Salad Chick restaurants in Fort Worth, Texas.  With no food service experience between him and his wife, they committed to working hard and learn everything from doing dishes to prepping food and taking care of guests.

John considers himself and jack of all trades and is not afraid to do the tough jobs.  He’s learned that as long as you can work, you’re not out of it and that perseverance triumphs over desire.
